Life is beautiful, life is strange and sometimes absurd, life is challenging... It's God's most precious gift, and you have to learn how to deal with it... What do you live for? Who are you? It's up to you what will be the answers to these questions, it depends only on you yourself and on what you make of your life. Nobody can live your life for you, you have to find a sense in everything you are doing and in everything that surrounds you, you must never give in thinking that you have no choice, because you are the one who makes decisions, who sets the aims and objectives, who chooses the way to achieve them and you are the one who is responsible for everything that happens...
Why Metalliana? Who is she? Sometimes an angel, sometimes a witch... What does she want? What does she look and long for? Where does she see the sense of life?

It all started a long time ago, in 1969, when God (or Destiny?) brought these two people together. They met by accident and decided to get married several months later. Why? No big love, no big money... They just knew it was worth trying... 14 years of hard work living in rented flats, no own shelter... Finally, they moved into their own house and a year later a baby saw the light of day. That baby was me.
I was born on 21st September 1974, it was a beautiful autumn day, full with bright colours and sunshine. Virgo, or rather Libra, who knows? As you can see, from the very first days till the specific teen age when everybody experiences revolutionary changes affecting body and mind Diana (the future Metalliana) was a very serious and resolute child, viewing everything in her own way.
At the age of 4 she still represented a very critical young lady. When her mother decided that the child should have a haircut and being helped by her sister (Diana's aunt) brought her daughter to the hairstylist's the future Metalliana showed he real character by insisting on immediate leaving for home. So she has been wearing her hair long since then.
1st September 1980 was the great day for Diana - she started school. As she had learnt reading, writing and counting some time before life was a bit boring, so she enjoyed herself helping the schoolmates to do their homework, sometimes even writing it straight in their exercise-books. Systematic, as she was, the little lady wanted to do everything right, and did her best to make life orderly and not only observe all possible rules herself, but also make others to do so. Nevertheless, she wrote with her left hand. Nobody was able to change her mind.
Diana spent 11 years at school and finally left it with the Certificate in Secondary Education and a golden medal for good results shown during all the years spent at school. She entered Vilnius University and then she changed. It was time for Metalliana to appear on the stage.
